RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF DAVID EISENBRAUN AS DIRECTOR OF WELD
COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, in accordance with Section 4-4 of the
Weld County Home Rule Charter, shall appoint the Director of the Weld County Department of
Planning Services, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 2024-0063, dated January 8, 2024, the Board of County
Commissioners appointed Elizabeth Relford as the Interim Director of the Department of Planning
Services, to replace Tom Parko, Jr., and
WHEREAS, because of a desire by the Board of County Commissioners for reassignment
of Ms. Relford's work duties, the Board of Weld County Commissioners deems it advisable to
appoint David Eisenbraun, as Director of the Weld County Department of Planning Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that David Eisenbraun, be, and hereby is, appointed as the Director of the
Weld County Department of Planning Services, effective November 4, 2024.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of November, A.D., 2024.
