Ross, Chair Commissioner Perry L. Buck, Pro-Tem Commissioner Mike Freeman Commissioner Scott K. James — EXCUSED Commissioner Lori Saine Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Jess Reid Deputy County Attorney, Karin McDougal Department of Planning Services representative, Diana Aungst The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 11, 2024, a public hearing was conducted on October 23, 2024, to consider the request of staff, to revoke Zoning Permit, ZPAG23-0003, for certain uses Agricultural Support and Service (trucking company principally engaged in the hauling of agricultural products) outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. At said hearing the Board continued the matter to December 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., to allow Roger and Sheryl Hill additional time to complete the Conditions of Approval. Karin McDougal, Deputy County Attorney, made this a matter of record. !' Chair Ross reviewed for Roger Hill, permittee, and the public, the procedures to follow should this case result in a tie vote due to four (4) Commissioners being present and Commissioner James being excused. `, Diana Aungst, Department of Planning Services, stated all of the Conditions of Approval have been completed and the ZPAG map had been submitted for recording, therefore, staff recommended dismissal of the case. Commissioner Saine thanked staff for working with Mr. Hill to get this completed. El In response to Chair Ross, Mr. Hill indicated he did not wish to add comment. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. cc'.PLCDE/MW /DA /KR) /04125 2024-2833 PL2421 HEARING CERTIFICATION - ROGER AND SHERYL HILL (ZPAG23-0003) PAGE 2 Commissioner Saine moved to dismiss the request of staff for the revocation of Zoning Permit, ZPAG23-0003, for certain uses Agricultural Support and Service (trucking company principally engaged in the hauling of agricultural products) outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, based on the confirmation from Planning staff that all outstanding Conditions of Approval have been met. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Buck, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:03 a.m. This Certification was approved on the 6th day of January, 2025, by the newly nominated and approved Board of Commissioners for 2025.
