RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF PUBLIC
HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists and the terms for certain positions will soon expire
on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Aron Lam to said board as the District 6 Representative, with a term to expire May 23, 2027, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Linda Kautz and Michael Wailes to said board as At -Large Representatives, both with terms to
expire May 23, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Aron Lam be, and hereby is, appointed, and Linda Kautz and
Michael Wailes, be, and hereby are reappointed, to the Board of Public Health, all with terms to
expire May 23, 2027.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of May, A.D., 2024.
