HOUSING AUTHORITY
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2024
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing
Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in
the Weld County Administration Building, Greeley, Colorado, June 3, 2024, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
el ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members
were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Kevin D. Ross, Chair
Commissioner Perry L. Buck, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Scott K. James
Commissioner Lori Saine
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Houstan Aragon
Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl Pattelli
Tom Teixeira, Executive Director of the Greeley Housing Authority, discussed the rent levels for a
tax credit property known as Dacono Senior Housing, which is owned by Highplains Housing
Development Corporation. He stated the Greeley Housing Authority has been the managing agent since
the property was built in 1999. Mr. Teixeira explained tax credit properties and why they have multiple
rent levels. The Board thanked Mr. Teixeira for his explanation.
MINUTES: Commissioner Buck moved to approve the Minutes of the Housing Authority Board
meeting of April 22, 2024, as printed. Commissioner James seconded the motion and it carried
unanimously.
lEri PUBLIC COMMENT:
1) Ed Hanam, City of Dacono resident, offered his comments to the Board.
RESOLUTIONS: The Resolutions were presented and signed as listed on the Board of County
Commissioners Consent Agenda.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and respectfully submitted
by the Acting Clerk to the Board. There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at
9:07 a.m.
