RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE PERMISSION TO ENTER PROPERTY FORM FOR LAND SURVEYING FOR OKLAHOMA AND SOUTH MASTERPLAN STORM DRAIN PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - CITY OF GREELEY WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Permission to Enter Property Form for Land Surveying for the Oklahoma and South Masterplan Storm Drain Project between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and the City of Greeley, commencing up full execution of signatures, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said form, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said form, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Permission to Enter Property Form for Land Surveying for the Oklahoma and South Masterplan Storm Drain Project between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and the City of Greeley, be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said form. The City has identified the necessity for improvements in this location and therefore is requesting permission to enter your property, as described in the attached Exhibit A, to perform survey work. The first step of the design of this project is to survey the area within and directly adjacent to the project area. The survey will be conducted via foot and will document the following: measurement of property boundaries; topographic survey which includes the modeling of ground terrain and the measuring and mapping of physical features; observations of vegetation, habitat, and water occurrence, and will generally be conducted along the edge of your property. Since this survey activity may require entering the boundary of your property, the City is requesting permission to enter to perform the survey work.
