SUBJECT: B2400087 - AV Cabling Bid Incomplete Award
The B2400087 - AV Cabling bid was awarded Gigaspan Solutions out of Centennial,
CO for a total cost of $7,829.00 on June 17, 2024. Gigaspan Solutions has identified
that their proposal was an incomplete solution and cannot honor their proposal.
Weld County Information Technology is recommending rescinding the award of the bid
to Gigaspan Solutions. In addition, Weld County will rebid the project.

Bids were received and opened on May 21, 2024, for B2400087 - AV Cabling. Four (4)
bids were received ranging from $7,829.00 to $21,573.59. Attached is the bid tabulation
for your information.
The Information Technology staff reviewed all bid responses. Gigaspan Solutions out of
Centennial, CO proposed the lowest cost solution of $7,829.00 and meets the needed
functionality documented in the bid process.
Based on the above information, I recommend the Board award B2400087 - AV Cabling
to Gigaspan Solutions, for a total amount of $7,829.00.
