RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - NOCO SANTA SQUAD WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, NoCo Santa Squad presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, an application for a Special Event Permit for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, subject to the rules and regulations found in Article 5, Title 44, C.R.S., for an event scheduled for one day only on November 9, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., outside the corporate limits of any town or city in the County of Weld at the location described as follows: Dreams and Dragonflies Event Center, 5194 County Road 50, Johnstown, Colorado 80534; being further described as part of Subdivision Exemption, SE -1024; being part of the W1/2 NW1/4 of Section 1, Township 4 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, pursuant to Exhibit 5-H of the Weld County Code, said applicant has paid the sum of $100.00 to the County of Weld for a Special Event Permit, and WHEREAS, said applicant has paid the sum of $25.00 to the Colorado Department of Revenue for a Special Event Permit. 2024-2852 LC0022 Date of signature: SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT - NOCO SANTA SQUAD PAGE 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, having examined said application and the other qualifications of the applicant, does hereby grant Special Event Permit Number 2024-20 to said applicant to sell malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, at retail at said location; and the Board does hereby authorize and direct the issuance of said permit by the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners, attested to by the Clerk to the Board of Weld County, Colorado, which permit shall be effective on November 9, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., providing that said permittee operates in strict conformity to all of the laws of the State of Colorado and the rules and regulations relating thereto, per Article 5, Title 44, C.R.S., heretofore passed by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and any violations thereof shall be cause for revocation of the permit.
