RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE
AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Jason Edwards to said board as the City of Greeley Appointee, with a term to expire January 13,
2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jason Edwards be, and hereby is, appointed to the 911 Emergency
Telephone Service Authority Board, with a term to expire January 13, 2026.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of January, A.D., 2024.
