IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION
RE: CONCURRENCE WITH THE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION'S RECOMA,ENDATION
FOR GRANTING OF PROPOSED ENLARGEMENT OF FEED LOT BY VERN (DICK) WOODS:
WHEREAS, The County Commissioners of Jeld County, Colorado, have been 'gully
advised by the Weld County Planning Commission in relation to the following Peti-
tion bf
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, that the recommendation of the Weld County' Planning F

Commission be concurred in and the Petition be granted as follows:
Enlargement of present feed lot South of Pierce.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

A special meeting of the Weld County Planni.�g Commission was held at the
Gilcrest Gym on April 13 at 9:00 P. M. Those present were Art King, John
Wheeler, John Watson, George Mosier and Elmer Shultz. The meeting was
called to order by the Chairman Art King.
Chairman King reported that a hand count of Gilcrest Ctizens and sur-
rounding property owners showed a large majority in favor of the feed lot
proposed to be established north of Gilcrest by Leon Miller.
In view of the e jority of opinion favorable to the feed lot, as expressed
by the Community of Gilcrest, it was moved by John Wheeler that the Plan-
ning Commission recommend to the County Commissioners that approval be
granted to the Petition of Leon Millr. Seconded by George Mosier. Unan-
imously carried.
It was moved by John Watson that the Petition submitted. by Vern. (Dick)
Woods of Ault, Colorado, requesting permission to enlarge his feed lot
south of Pierce be recommended for approval by the County Commissioners.

The Petition of Roy Belle/ for cunstruction of a garage, etc. on the SET
of 18-6-65 lying west of the right of wa;+ of U. S. Highway 85 was discus-
sed. It was moved by George rosier that the petition be tabled until the
next regular meeting with the request that the petitioner obtain signa-
tures of the surrounding property owners. Seconded by John Matson and
unanimously carried.
