A. D. 1905, by and between William 0. Thompson, party of the first part,
and Conrad Stockfleth, party of the second part, WJT Y SETH:
THAT ^"t'a.rt s, the party of the first part is the owner of the
Southwest quarter of section four, township six north, range sixty-five
west of the 6th principal meridian; and the party of the second part
is the owner of the northwest quarter of section nine, township six,
north, range sixty-five west of the 6th principal meridian.
AND Nxey-WAS, the county of Weld and state of Colorado is
about to open and establish and lay out a public highway r*rming on the
section line betweaunthe southwest quarter of section four, and the
northwest quarter of section nine, township six, north, range sixty-
five west of the 6th principal meridian owned by the parties of the
first and second part.
AND WH REAS, there is a controversy as to where the section
line between said quarter sections owned by the parties hereto is lo-
cated; and
WB IKAS, the parties of the first and second part are desirious
of definitely locating for all tine to cone where said section line is
to be located, and where the public highway shall be located by the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld county.
NOW 7TW-MORN, the pa^ties of the first and second part for
the purpose of locating said section line upon which said public highway

County Commissioners, the parties of the first and second part do here—
by agree that for the purpose of locating said public highway, and for
the purpose of locating the exact boundary line between the said quar-
ter sections owned by the parties Of the first and second part that they
do hereby agree by and between each other 'that t. 7,. Stinson, the
County Surveyor of Weld county, Colorado, shall proceed to survey and
locate said section line between i9SA said quarter sections owned by

first and second parties, and that he shall locate said section line
to the best of his ability from the field notes and such other evidence
as he may he able to gather in reference to the location, of said
section line; that after he has made suoh survey he shall make a map
and field notes of his said survey. and ;file the same with the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld county, Colorado, and make the sage a
matter of record JO the records of the county surveyor of Weld count%,
Colorado, and that when he has made said survey and said record, and
filed the same as aforesaid, the parties to this contract do hereby agree
for a1l time, as well for themselves as for their executors, heirs and
assigns, that said section line so established by said L. L. Stinson,
shall be the boundary line between said quarter sections; and that the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld county, Colorado, nay locate a
public highway upon Said line as was established by said L. I.. Stinson,
and that the parties hereto will abide and agree fcr all time to come
that emia location shall not he questioned.
The consideration between the parties for the entering into
of this contract is the establishing by satd .county surveyor of said
section line, and the laying out of the public highway by the Board of
County Commissioners as aforesaid.
