RE: ANNUAL MEETING AND 2025 BUDGET HEARING — WELD COUNTY PIONEER
COMMUNITY LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY
A public hearing was conducted on December 2, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Kevin D. Ross, Chair
Commissioner Perry L. Buck, Pro -Tern
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Scott K. James
Commissioner Lori Saine - EXCUSED
Also present:

Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl Pattelli
Budget Manager, Jennifer Oftelie
The following business was transacted:
E I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 18, 2024, and duly published
November 20, 2024, in the Greeley Tribune, the Annual Meeting of the Weld County Pioneer
Community Law Enforcement District Authority Board was conducted, and a public hearing was
conducted to consider the proposed 2025 Budget for the Weld County Pioneer Community Law
Enforcement Authority District.
le Cheryl Pattelli, Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, stated revenue is $6,073.00,
property tax is $5,898.00, specific ownership tax is $175.00, and expenses will be $6,073.00 in
professional services. She requested the Board approve the Budget, the Resolution Appropriating
Funds, the Resolution setting the mill levy at 7.000 mills, setting a total assessed value of
$842,520.00, and approval of the Law Enforcement Agreement between Pioneer Community Law
Enforcement and the Weld County Sheriff's Office for patrol services.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
le Commissioner James moved to approve the following items:
1. Resolution to Adopt the Budget, in the amount of $5,898.00.
2. Resolution to appropriate the funds for receipt and expenditure of the budgeted
funds, in the amount of 5,898.00.
3. Resolution to set the mill levy at 7.000 mills, for a total assessed value of
$842,520.00,
4. Resolution to approve the Law Enforcement Agreement and authorize the Chair
to sign, for the Sheriff's Office to provide law enforcement services in the district
area.

The motion was seconded by Commissioner Buck, and it carried unanimously.
There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 9:27 a.m.
This Certification was approved on the 16th day of December, 2024.
