RESOLUTION
I -f
WHEREAS, the streets and alleys in the Shaffer and Gardner's
Addition to Erie, being a subdivision of the South Half of the
Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (Ski NWµ NWµ) of Section
18, Township 1 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., in the County
of Weld and State of Colorado, was dedicated to the public use by
the plat of said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the streets and alleys so dedicated are no longer
necessary, the same having never been opened or used by the public,
and that the owners of said subdivision and adjoining landowners
have agreed that said streets and alleys may be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, that any and
all the right, title and interest of the County of Weld in and to the
streets and alleys dedicated to the public use by the plat of Shaffer
and Gardner's Addition to Erie, being a subdivision of the South Half
of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (Sa NWµ NWµ) of
Section 18, Township 1 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., in the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, according to the recorded plat
thereof, be and the same hereby is vacated and abandoned and title
thereto vested in the owners of the abutting property according to
law.

Please find enclosed a Petition to the County Commissioners
of Weld County to vacate the streets and alleys in Shaffer
and Gardner's Addition.
Enclosed also is a proposed Resolution for the Board of
County Commissioners.
John Sosa and Patricia J. Sosa have purchased the interests of
L. D. Allison and Evert W. Young. The deed from Evert W. Young
is now being recorded with the Weld County Clerk and Recorder's
Office. Please find enclosed a copy of this deed and the pre-
viously recorded deed from L. D. Allison.
It now appears that the vacation of the streets can be accom-
plished. We would appreciate your expedition of this matter.

We, the undersigned, consisting of residents and owners of real pro-
perty in Weld County, State of Colorado, hereby petition that the streets
and alleys dedicated to the public use by the plat of:
Shaffer and Gardner's Addition to Erie, being a subdivision of
the South Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter (Sz,NWu, NWu) of Section 18, Township 1 North, Range
68 West of the 6th P.M. in the County of Weld and State of
Colorado, according to the recorded map or plat thereof,
be vacated and abandoned.
The streets and alleys have never been opened or used by the public
and vacation of said streets and alleys do not deny access to the land of
adjoining property owners. The said addition is bounded on the East by a
railroad right of way and on the West by a County Road. The property is
presently being used for residential and farming purposes.
