WELD COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES:
WHEREAS, Mrs. V. Kelsey Carlson was appointed Trustee for the Weld
County Library Board of Trustees to fill a vacated term ending May 1, 1964;
also, on April 15, 1964, Mrs. Carlson was appointed Trustee for a full term
ending May 1, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Library Board of Trustees has recommended
that Mrs. Carlson be appointed for another five year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that Mrs. V. Kelsey Carlson of Fort Lupton, Colorado,
be and she is hereby appointed Trustee to serve on the Weld County Library Board
of Trustees for a term of five years, beginning May 1, 1969 and ending May 1,
1974.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

Dear Mr. Anderson:
Tne Board of Trustees of the Meld County Library
earnestly recommends the reappointment of Mrs. Kelsey
Carlson for a five-year term as trustee. She has been
an interested and active member of tile board, often
serving beyond what is normally expected.
Also Mrs. Carlson is presently serving as a
member of the Colorado Council for Library Development,
the advisory board for the Colorado State Library. She
was appointed by the State Board of Education to repre-
sent the public library trustees of Northern Colorado.
We believe it is of definite benefit to Weld County to
have Mrs. Carlson serve on this important Council and
to continue as a member of the Weld County Library
Board.
