That the-applicant is the County of Weld, in the State of Colorado . 2nd. That there should be established an undergrade crossing under the Chicago , Burlington & Quincy Railroad Bridge No . 510 .41 at Box Elder Creek, about two and one-half miles northeast. of Hudson, in the northeast quarter (NE 4) , Section Thirty-six (36) , Township Two (2) , North of Range Sixty-fave (651 , -West of the 6th P.M. in Yield County, Colorado . 3rd. That there is no grade crossing over the - Chicago , Burlington & Quincy Railroad tracks for a distance . of about 4 miles northeasterly from Hudson . 4th. That Weld County desires to open up a County - road southerly from this Railroad Bridge to connect the Eighth Guide Meridian Road from the north with State Highway N'o . 52, which extends easterly from Hudson . 5th. That Weld County desires to open up a County road easterly from this Railroad Bridge to connect up With a County road along the south side of the Chica€o , Burlington • & Quincy Railroad which extends southwesterly from Keenesburg. 6th. That the school bus which operates out of Keenesburg requires this undergrade crossing- in order to eliminate mileage on their route , and to eliminate the ex= tensive use of grade crossincs nearer Keenesburg . 7th. That the Colorado State Highway Department is building a short cut from Wiggins to Roggen and this section of road will be used a:: a temporary connection between Roggen and ' /len/. 7/ i2 • Hudson, thus diverting a large part of the thru travel under • the railroad at Box Elder Bridge, from the present grade crossing on State Highway No . 52. at Hudson. 8th. That when the. new State Highway is complete d between Roggen and Hudson on the north ' side' of the Burlington Railroad this undergrade crossing will carry a. large percentage of the travel from Prospect Valley and the Keenesburg district - to and from the new State Highway. 9th. That there is attached hereto a blue print map showing the proposed roads which will be connected by means of . the undergrade crossing . WHEREFORE, Applicant asks that the Public Utilities • Commission of the State of Colorado make its order authorizing and requiring the establishment of the said public highway .undergrade crossing, and specify the terms and -conditions and apportionment of the cost covering the work_ Dated at Colorado , this BOA day of / , 192 .
