GENTLEMEN:—We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at a point on the north line of Section 28, Township 1, North Range 63, which is 100 feet est of the high water line of the Olds Reservoir as the same is filed in the office of the State Engineer of Colorado, which point is about 1000 feet due west from the northeast corner of said Section 28, and extending thence south along and 100 feet from and above the high water line of said reservoir about-1000 feet, to .a point 100 feet south of the southernmost part of said reservoir; thence due east to a point in 1114 of NNG4 Section 27, Township 1, North Range 63, which is 100 feet east of the southeast extremity of said reservoir; thence northerly along and 100 feet east of the high water line of said reservoir to the southeast extremity- of the dam of said. reservoir as shown on the map thereof as filed ; and thence along and over the line of said dam to the Public Highway on the west line of Section 22 , Township 1 , North Range 63. This Petition is made in order to assist in the Construction of said Olds Reservoir which will necessitate the abandonment of about one mile of road- north and south thru said reservoir and about one-half • mile of road east thru the reservoir, and the establishment of the line of road above described around the southern and east side of the reser- voir and dam end back to the road. abandoned; and the undersigned do each hereby petition for the establishment of the new line of road as above described and for the abandonment of the old line of road thru said reser- voir basin as aforesaid, all of which lines of road to be abandoned and the liner of road be established for accomodation of said reservoir are more accurately shown on the plat of said reservoir attached . This road will be necessitated to pass around a reservoir being built by the Henrylyn Irrigation District. The location of the new levie will abandon about one mile of road thru the reservoir, but as this is often very water soaked and muddy it will be a benefit.
