WHEREAS, on July 26, 1967, a public hearing was had for the purpose
of hearing protestants, if any, regarding change of zone classification, "A"
Agriculture District to "E" Estates District, as requested by Mr. M. M. Moore
for a parcel of land in the Delta area more particularly described as follows:
All that part of Lots 3 and 4 of the NWWSE* of Section 9,
Township 5 N., Range 65 West of the 6th P. M.; according
to subdivision of lands by the Union Colony of Colorado,
particularly described as follows: beginning at a point
30' South and 175' West of the NE corner of Lot 3; thence
South parallel with the East line of Lot 3 a distance of
170'; thence West parallel with the North line of Lots
3 and 4 a distance of 325'; thence North parallel with the
East line of Lot 3 a distance of 170'; thence East
parallel with the North line of Lots 3 and 4 a distance of
325' to the point of beginning, containing 1.46 acres, m/l;
and
WHEREAS, no protestants appeared to said change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that the change of zone classification, "A" Agriculture
District to "E" Estates District, as requested by Mr. M. M. Moore and recommended
by the Weld County Planning Commission, be and it is hereby granted.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, approved and adopted by the following vote:

CHANGE OF ZONE
"A" to "E"

Marshall Anderson: We will call this hearing to order on the request for
a Change of Zone of M. M. Moore from "A" Agriculture to "E" Estate.
Said notice appears on Docket Number Three and was duly advertised.
What you are doing is changing from agriculture to estate district
I talked to Mr. Mitchell yesterday and he explained it to me. The
only comment that the County Commissioners have and they all moved
for the passage of it. -- the comment they made was the size lots
may be too large for family dwellings but I think it has to be an
acre to come under estates.
Mr. Dunbar: What do you propose to do Mr. Moore?
Mr. Moore: There are two houses on it and I will probably build
another one. I have sold 108 feet off of it. So that will leave 108 feet
to each one.
Mr. Dunbar: Now this 108 feet you have sold off of this now this
won't come under this zoning will it?
Marshall Anderson: Yes, Ed, the whole parcel will be zoned. as "E" Estate
Thats more or less out in where Bob Ley lives on East 16th Street. Its
the property just east of that road that goes down to East Memorial School
on 16th Street. East of Farr Feed Lot.
Mr. Dunbar: In view of no opposition I move that the zone change
be changed from "A" Agriculture to "E" Estate as recommended by the Weld
County Planning Commission.
Motion carried by a unanimous vote of the Board. A resolution was ordered
drawn. Hearing adjourned.
