APPROVED AS TO FORM: �`F'urity Attorney •.s -- RESOLUTION RE: REGULATING, WARNING AND GUIDING TRAFFIC ON COUNTY ROADS AND AT COUNTY ROAD INTERSECTIONS IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO. WHEREAS, a multitude of complaints have been made to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that drivers of motor vehicles habitually drive on County roads and through County road intersections without regard for the general safety of drivers of other motor vehicles, and WHEREAS, pursuant to 1963 Colorado Revised Statutes, 13-5-69 (1), as amended, local authorities, with reference to streets or highways under their jurisdiction, are authorized to designate through streets or highways and erect stop signs at specified entrances thereto, and WHEREAS, said Board, pursuant to such complaints, has deter- mined upon the basis of traffic and personal investigations that conditions exist which make it necessary to regulate, warn and guide vehicular traffic on County roads by posting signs thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Board deems it necessary to regulate, warn and guide traffic on County roads and any intersections thereof, and it hereby authorizes and orders the posting of such traffice control devices as shall be reasonably necessary to regulate, warn and/or guide traffic thereon for the safety of the general public and that said traffic control devices shall conform to the State Manual and specifications. The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on roll call: AYES: DATED: OCTOBER 28, 1970 THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WELD COUNTY, COLORADO E be RE: AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND BLUE CROSS - BLUE SHIELD FOR THE YEAR 1971. WHEREAS, Blue Cross - Blue Shield has submitted a program for the year 1971 for the benefit of the permanent employees of the County of Weld, as follows; to -wit: Series 14 Standard "A" Supplement - Blue Cross - Blue Shield $ 8. 65 2. 60 1.85, and WHEREAS, Weld County agrees to pay the basic program for each employee in the amount of $13. 10 per month covering each employee having met permanent employee requirements of the County of Weld, however, allowing the employee to add his family or make a modification of the basic plan at his own expense; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned agreement covering the Blue Cross and Blue Shield program is defined as Series 14, Standard "A" Supplement, with a Maximum of $25,000.00 lifetime payment, with the maximum payment applying only to County employees who regularly and permanently employed. Those employees who have retired after completing twenty years continuous service with the County may continue coverage at their own expense to the age of 65, at which time they shall be transferred to the County SSP Blue Cross, Blue Shield program, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, believes it to be in the best interests of the County to accept the proposed program and to enter into such an agreement on the basis recited therein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the agreement submitted by Blue Cross - Blue Shield to provide Blue Cross - Blue Shield coverage in accordance with the program as submitted, copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and it hereby is approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it hereby is authorized, to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same effective for the calendar year 1971. M., Weld County, Colorado, and has recommended that said roads be accepted for County maintenance; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the streets within the boundary of the Grandview Highland Estates Subdivision as approved by resolution dated; September 13, 1967, be and the same are now hereby accepted for maintenance; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said roads be added to the Weld County Road System. The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote: AYES: AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN APPLICATION FOR LOCATION SEWAGE TREATMENT FACILITY: THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WELD COUNTY, COLORADO BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner Billings, Chairman of the Board, be and he is hereby authorized to sign for and in behalf of Weld County, Colorado, an application for approval of location for a Sewage Treatment Facility as requested by Huebner Construction Company, installation of said facility was approved by resolution dated May 14, 1969, on a tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P. M., Weld County, Colorado, more particularly described as fol.lcws: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 34, thence South 30 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 1200 feet; thence West 600 feet; thence North 1200 feet; thence East 600 feet to the true point of beginning, containing 16.527 acres, more or less.
