RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on Wednesday, October 14,
1970, at 2:00 P. M. in the chambers of the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, for the purpose of hearing a petition of
Air Dusters, Inc. , a Colorado corporation, Roggen, Colorado, requesting
a change of zone from "A" Agricultural District to "C" Commercial District,
and
WHEREAS, the petitioner was present, being Carl Schellenberg,
President of the corporation, and
WHEREAS, there was no opposition to the change of zone, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all the
testimony and statements of those present, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
request of the petitioner and studied the recommendations of the Weld
County Planning Commission, and having been fully informed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners, that the petition of Air Dusters, Inc. , a Colorado
corporation, for change of zone from "A" Agricultural District to "C"
Commercial District, said area being more particularly described as
follows:
That part of Block 2, vacated alley and vacated Second
Street adjacent to said Block 2, First Addition to the
Town of Roggen, a subdivision of a part of the Northwest

RESOLUTION
RE: REGULATING, WARNING AND GUIDING TRAFFIC ON COUNTY
ROADS AND AT COUNTY ROAD INTERSECTIONS IN WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, a multitude of complaints have been made to the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that drivers of
motor vehicles habitually drive on County roads and through County
road intersections without regard for the general safety of drivers of
other motor vehicles, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to 1963 Colorado Revised Statutes, 13-5-69 (1),
as amended, local authorities, with reference to streets or highways
under their jurisdiction, are authorized to designate through streets or
highways and erect stop signs at specified entrances thereto, and
WHEREAS, said Board, pursuant to such complaints, has deter-
mined upon the basis of traffic and personal investigations that conditions
exist which make it necessary to regulate, warn and guide vehicular
traffic on County roads by posting signs thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Board deems it
necessary to regulate, warn and guide traffic on County roads and any
intersections thereof, and it hereby authorizes and orders the posting
of such traffice control devices as shall be reasonably necessary to
regulate, warn and/or guide traffic thereon for the safety of the general
public and that said traffic control devices shall conform to the State
Manual and specifications.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commis-
sioners, Weld County, Colorado, does declare and establish the following
through streets or highways for the named portions of County roads which
shall become effective when standard stop signs are erected at the
entrances thereto:

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, to lease purchase from McCoy Company, of
6000 Dahlia Street (Colorado Boulevard) , Denver, Colorado, one (1)
Towmotor V-60 fork lift, 6000# capacity, Serial No. 89M495, Engine No.
S. N. 32673, with all attachments, as per Invoice No. 3480, and Govern-
ment Agency Lease Agreement, all attached and made a part hereof by
reference, for a total purchase price of $10,245.00,
• WHEREAS, it is the further desire of the Board to rent from
McCoy Company, said vehicle, for a rental price of $250. 00 per month,
for a period of three months, and
WHEREAS, the County of Weld has been given the option to
purchase said vehicle, with the total rental of $750. 00 to be applied to the
purchase price.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Weld
agrees to lease purchase from McCoy, 6000 Dahlia Street (Colorado
Boulevard), Denver, Colorado, one (1) Towmotor V-60 fork lift; 6000#
capacity, Serial No. 89M495, Engine No. S. N. 32673, with all of the
attachments, all as hereinabove recited.

RE: AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND BLUE CROSS -
BLUE SHIELD FOR THE YEAR 1971.
WHEREAS, Blue Cross - Blue Shield has submitted a program
for the year 1971 for the benefit of the permanent employees of the
County of Weld, as follows; to -wit:

WHEREAS, Weld County agrees to pay the basic program for
each employee in the amount of $13. 10 per month covering each
employee having met permanent employee requirements of the County
of Weld, however, allowing the employee to add his family or make a
modification of the basic plan at his own expense; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned agreement covering the Blue
Cross and Blue Shield program is defined as Series 14, Standard "A"
Supplement, with a Maximum of $25,000.00 lifetime payment, with
the maximum payment applying only to County employees who regularly
and permanently employed. Those employees who have retired after
completing twenty years continuous service with the County may continue
coverage at their own expense to the age of 65, at which time they shall
be transferred to the County SSP Blue Cross, Blue Shield program, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County,
Colorado, believes it to be in the best interests of the County to accept
the proposed program and to enter into such an agreement on the basis
recited therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the agreement submitted
by Blue Cross - Blue Shield to provide Blue Cross - Blue Shield coverage
in accordance with the program as submitted, copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and it hereby is
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it hereby is
authorized, to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same
effective for the calendar year 1971.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the accompanying plat is approved for
filing, and the public roads, streets, highways and easements thereon shown are
approved, provided however, that the County of Weld will not undertake maintenance
of said streets, roads and rights -of -way until they have been constructed by the
subdivider according to specifications and accepted by the County of Weld, and
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subdivider shall post a bond
in the amount of $10,140.00, prior to the beginning of any construction in said
subdivision, and/or the construction of subdivision roads, to guarantee absolute
compliance with County Road specifications and that said bond shall continue for
one year after completion of said roads or unless released by action of the Board.

WHEREAS, the County Engineer has investigated the road within
the Grandview Highland Estates Subdivision, being a part of the Northwest
Quarter (NW4) of Section 34, Township 2 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P. M.,
Weld County, Colorado, and has recommended that said roads be accepted for
County maintenance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the streets within the boundary of the Grandview
Highland Estates Subdivision as approved by resolution dated; September 13, 1967,
be and the same are now hereby accepted for maintenance; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said roads be added to the Weld County
Road System.

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Commissioner Billings, Chairman of the Board, be and he is hereby
authorized to sign for and in behalf of Weld County, Colorado, an application
for approval of location for a Sewage Treatment Facility as requested by Huebner
Construction Company, installation of said facility was approved by resolution
dated May 14, 1969, on a tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter (NE -k)
of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 66 West
of the 6th P. M., Weld County, Colorado, more particularly described as fol.lcws:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 34, thence South 30 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence South 1200 feet; thence West
600 feet; thence North 1200 feet; thence East 600 feet to the true
point of beginning, containing 16.527 acres, more or less.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
