AS ASSOCIATE MEMBERS OF WELD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION:
WHEREAS, the County Planning Commission requested the appointment of
two associate members for the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Leonard Bartells of Greeley,
Colorado, be appointed for a three year term and Albert S. Knespel of LaSalle,
Colorado for a four year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that Leonard Bartells be and he is hereby appointed
associate member of the Weld County Planning Commission for a term of three years
beginning April 21, 1965 and ending July 22, 1968, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Albert S. Knespel be and he is hereby
appointed associate member of the Weld County Planning Commission for a term of
four years beginning April 21, 1965 and ending July 22, 1969.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

Gentlemen:
It is the desire of the Weld County Planning Commission
that you appoint , two associate members to the Planning
Commission as provided for under the Col. Statutes.
Our feeling is that this would give a broader coverage
in Planning. Associate members are advisory only, except
in the case that a majority should not be present to
conduct business and them they have a vote.
We feel that Leonard Bartellt , who is presently a member
of the Greeley Planning Commission, should be one associate,
this will give us a closer relationship with the workings
of the Greeley Planning Commission,
Albert . B.. Knespel, , of LaSalle, we feel would also make an
excellent member and this would give some representation
to the South of Greeley.
We would appreciate your giving these two men you considerat-
ion. The qualifications are that they be residents of the
County and own Real Property in the County.
