BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
does and hereby approves a certain agreement with the State Highway Commission of Colo-
rado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of the Department of Highways of the
State of Colorado, dated August 29, 1962, whereby the County has reviewed and approved
the Geometric Standards designated to govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary
Project to consist of improvements on State HighwayiNo. 14, beginning at the East end
of Project S-0024(12); East of Ault :. East Briggsdale, as per terms of said agreement,
attached and made a part of this resolution, on behalf of Weld County.
The above and foregoing resolution was, Onlmotion dulysmadedand seconded,

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 29th day of August 19 62 ,
by and between the County of Weld party of the first part, and THE STATE
HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF COLORADO, a public corporation for the use and benefit of
the STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that
WHEREAS, The Department has constructed, or proposes to construct, or
provide for the construction of, a project known as Project S 0024(15)
approximately 9.148 miles long, beginning at East end of Project S 0024(12)
east of Ault - East Briggsdale on State_Highway No. in the
County, and
WHEREAS, the said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary
System,
NON, THEREFORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950; the
Parties have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of
construction for said Project and have agreed as follows:
That, the 19 62 Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found
to be 810 vehicles per days therefore, in accordance with approved and
established practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be
1860 vehicles per day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that
designated as Type C of the Geometric Standards dated August 1, 1952, more fully
described as follows:
The surface shall consist.of Plant Mix Asphalt , 30. ,I/ feet
wide on a roadway 30 ±/ feet wide. The maximum grade shall be 3.5 percent
and the curvature shall not exceed_ 0 'degrees and 30 minutes. The rights of
way shall be less than 98 feet in width,-axaaRftxthsaugbucthextawzx(cs):xakxx

pctzx ec. Bridges and Separations shall have a design load. of 2/ Those
structures having a length less than sixty (60) feet shall have a fear roadway
width, between curbs or wheel guards, of 2/ feet and those having a length
of sixty (60) feet and over shall have a clear roadway width_of 2/ feet.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
Successors and assigns of the Parties Thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf
of the County by virtue of a Resolution passed at the meeting of the Board of
County Commissioners held on August 29, 1962,a certified copy of which is
attached herete.

Commissioners of Weld County, held on August 29
19 62 , the following resolution was adopted:
"RESOLVED, that this Board hereby approves a certain Agreement with THE STATE
HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF -COLORADO, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of
the DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS of the STATE OF COLORADO, dated August 29 , 19 62
whereby the County has reviewed and approved_the Geometric Standards designated to
govern the construction of a Federal -Aid Secondary. Project to consist of
improvements on State Highway No. 14 , beginning at East end of Project S 0024(12)
E of Ault — East Briggsdale , as per terms of said Agreement on behalf
of Weld County by signatures of the entire Board".
