WHEREAS, on May 15, 1967, a public hearing was had for the purpose
of hearing protestants, if any, regarding a change of zone from "E" Estate
District to "A" Agricultural District as requested by Reed Timothy of 2315
East 18th Street, Greeley, Colorado, said area more particularly described
as follows:

A part of lots One (1) and Four (4) of the SE4 of Section
10, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P. M., Weld
County, Colorado, containing .92 acres, m/l
WHEREAS, there appeared no protestants to said change of zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that they hereby agree to uphold the recommendations
of the Weld County Planning Commission by granting the change of zone in the
Delta Area as requested by Reed Timothy.

CHANGE OF ZONE REQUEST

Mr. Marshall Anderson called the hearing to order. Said hearing was requested
by Reed Timothy for a change of zone from "E"Estate District to "A" Agricultural
District in the Delta Area, more particularly described as follows:
A part of lots One and Four of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 10, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th
P. M., Weld County, Coloraao, containing .92 acres m/l
Mr. Telep: The following notice is published as required by law and I shall
read said notice. "Pursuant to the zoning laws of the State of
Colorado, a public hearing will be held in the Office of the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County , Weld County Court
Nouse on Monday, May 15, 1967 at 10:00 A. M. o'clock on the
petition of Reed Timothy of 2315 East 18th Street, Greeley, Colorado,
requesting change of zone from "E" Estate District to "A" Agricultural
District in the Delta Area, more particularly described as follows:
Part of lot one and four of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10,
Township Five North, Range Sixty-five West of the 6th P. M. Weld
County, Colorado. Containing .92 acres more or less. Dated this
12th Day of April 1967. By the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, by Ann Spomer County Clerk and Recorder and
Clerk to the Board. Published in the Greeley Booster April 14, 1967
and May 5, 1967".
Mr. Dunbar: More specifically where is this located?
Mr. Timothy: One-half mile due east of the cemetery on the north side of
the road on 18th Street. In front of Mrs. Elsie McCave's
gravel pit. I think the zoning to the north is "A" and
the zoning to the east is "A". Williams has his farm zoned
"E" I think for future development on the south side.
Mr. Marshall
Anderson: The Walker place is all "E" isn't it? So is the old
E. D. Brown place. Is there any opposition to this request?
Evelyn timothy: The reason we wanted it rezoned is so that we can put a
house trailer on the property for my mother to live in;
because she is moving from Kansas to Colorado. She is alone
Mr. Dunbar: What is the recommendation of the Planning Commission?
Mr. Marshall
Anderson:
They have recommended the request as favorable. They are in
favor of changing the zone.
Mr. Dunbar: Well I will agree with the recommendation of the Planning
Commission. There is no one in objection to it. I would
recommend that the change of zone be granted.
Mr. Harold
Anderson: I will second that.
Mr. Marshall
Anderson: I will make it unanimous.
