The items cf furniture to be refinished are as follows: 27 mahogany chairs 5 oak chairs 8 benches 12' long 1 bench 14' long 1 speaker's stand 3 tables 2 writing tables We have obtained bids from Russell Furniture Refinishing for $1,328.00 and Mills -Furniture Repair for $1,887.00. It was also -suggested that we obtain a bid from Clough's. Clough's, however, send their work to Russell so we saw no point in asking them for a bid. If we take the low bid of Russell and add our 15% the total will come to $1,528.00. I will tender this information to the Commissioners for their approval before having Russell proceed with the work.
