A special meeting of the ield County Planning Commission was held on Tuesday,
May 24, 1960, at 11:00 A. M. at the George Mosier Farm west of Greeley. John Wat-
son, Vice Chairman, called the meeting to order with George Mosier, John Wheeler
and Elmer Shultz present. Art King absent.
After considerable discussion pro and con on the Petition or Ray Bailey for
his Truck Stop at Lucerne, Colorado, a motion was made by John Wheeler that the
planning commission recommend to the Board of County Commissioners the approvalof
said petition and plat as revised, and also that the access entrance on State High-
way 392 be where the Service Road would enter 392, when the four -lane highway is
constructed. Seconded by Elmer Shultz. Unanimously carried.
The Planning Commission decided to have a meeting with Trafton Bean at 10:30
A. M. on June 3 in Boulder as they feel it is very necessary to go ahead and zone
the fringe areas around Greeley and get the plat filled out and have the necessary
hearings. Then in the afternoon attend the Boulder County Planning Commission
meeting.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 11:30 A. M.
Respectfully submitted,
