WHEREAS, on April 21, 1965, a public hearing was had for the purpose
of hearing protestants, if any, regarding change of zone in the West Greeley Area
as requested by the Weld County Planning Commission, said area more particularly
described as follows:
Rezoning from "E" (Estate District) to "R" (Residential District)
Beginning at the intersection of West 50th Ave. and 20th St.;
thence south along West 50th Ave. to West 22nd St.; thence east
along West 22nd St. extended to the West Grapevine Ditch; thence
southerly along the West Grapevine Ditch to West 25th St.; thence
West 25th St. to the intersection of West 25th St. and 49th Ave. Ct.
thence south along West 49th Ave Ct to the intersection of West 49th
Ave. Ct. & West 27th St.; thence West along West 27th St to the
intersection of West 27th St. and West 50th Ave.; thence North along
West 50th Ave. to the intersection of West 50th eve and West 26th
St.; thence West along West 26th St. to the half section line of
Section 15, Township 5 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P. M.; thence
north along the half section line of said Section 15 to the center
of said Section 15; thence west along the half section line of said
Section 15 to the west line of said Section 15; thence north to the
NW corner of said Section 15; thence east along the north line of said
Section 15, which is also West 20th St., to the true point of beginning.
Except the following parcels of land which are zoned "T" Transitional;
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 16 of Highland Hills; Lots 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,
21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 of Block 15 of Highland Hills; Lots
6, 7, 8 and 11 of Block 13 Highland Hills and the following lots which
are zoned "B" Business; Lots 9 and 10 of Block 13 in Highland Hills,
Weld County, Colorado.
and
WHEREAS, there appeared no protestants to said change of zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that they hereby unanimously agree to uphold the recom-
mendation of the Weld County Planning Commission by granting the change of zone in
the West Greeley Area as requested.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded
adopted by the following vote:
