To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado:

The North east corner of Section twenty five in Township eight North, in Range sixty two
West of 6th P.Y. thence West along the section line about six miles to the north west
corner of Section thirty in said Township and Range For that the East half of said
proposed new road: S. i . from the East end thereof to the centre of Section 28 is now
open, fenced, traveled and is good road requiring no work or other outlay: the only work
1V a needed on the west half thereof. is a bridge over Crow Creek and a bridge over a 60 feet

We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road,as above described,and we, the owners
of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out,in consideration of the sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand
paid by the said County of Weld,the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road,hereby
agree to give the right of way through our lands,as shown by the plat accompanying this petition,and relinquish all claims for dam-
age by reason thereof. The said proposed line of road is more folly shown by the following map or plat, to which reference is herein

RESOLUTION
Commissioner Magnuson offered the tllowing resolution
and moved it* adoption:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Oeaissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that this Board make and execute an agreement
with the State Highway Department of Colorado, obligating Weld County,
__Polorndo, _to participate in the total cost of improvements on State
Highway No. 14 from Briggedale east to New Raymer , the total amount
of said improvements being $115,000.00 of which amount $28,750.00
(1) pf the total, and further thatthe County's share in the costs of
said improvements to be drawn from the "County Road Fund".
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Andersen and
the resolution adopted dopted by the following vote:

to designate that portion of State Highway No. 14 as a
F. A. S. Highway, commencing at Briggsdale, thence east to
C. B. & Q. R. R. Co., thence along south aide of said R. Be
