Deer Sirs:
It appears that Christian A. Bennett former County Treasurer
who took office in 2897, sometime during* his term, opened an a ccount in
the First National Bnnk of Greeley es Co--nt7 Treasrrer or as Christian A.
Be -nett "Special Account" and I am informed there is now $ 119.75 in this
account which must belong. to the tnv pavers o{' Weld ^ounty.
Also John A. Goodan former Conrnty Treasurer who took office
in 1901 must have during his term opened an account in the First Nat ona1
Bank of Greeley either in the name of John A. Goodan County Treasurer or
John A. Grodon "Special Account" and there is now reii ininp_ in this account
the sum of $102.75 which slam !mist bolosn7 to the tr)x payers of eld County.
I would like to recover there amounts for the use of Weld
In doing so, Weld County will indemnify the First National
Bank of Greeley for any lose sustained in claims agninst these accounts.

First National Bank of Greeley,Qblorado. that there are old accounts of
County Treasurers as follows:
C. A. Bennett'Amount $ 119.75
County Treasurer
J. A. Gooden, Amount $ 302.75
County Treasurer
They do not know,neither do I that these are former
County Treasurers of Weld County but I presume they are.
If these are former County Treasurers accounts, they
must be some way to secure them for the benefit of W ld County.
