COUNTY OF WELD ) WELD COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN RE THE ORGANIZATION OF ) NEWELL LAKE DRAINAGE ) DISTRICT, WELD COUNTY, ) COLORADO. ) ORDER FOR ELECTION OF NEWELL LAKE DRAINAGE DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners for and in the County of Weld has established by order the proposed Newell Lake Drainage District and established and defined the boundaries of said District. The Board of County Commissioners, being fully advised of the premises, hereby orders that: an election shall be held within the proposed drainage district for the purpose of determining whether or not said District shall be organized. Notice of this election shall be published at least two weeks preceding the election in:a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published within Weld County. Notice of said election shall contain: (1) Name of the proposed district, Newell Lake Drainage District; (2) The Boundaries thereof as set forth in this Board's previous order establishing the proposed district; (3) The polling places; (4) The names of the judges of election; (5) The names of three or more persons eligible for directors of said district; (6) The date of said election. Said notice shall require the electors to cast ballots which shall contain the words: "Drainage District - yes": or "Drainage District - no". Every owner of land within said District, who is a citizen of the United States, or has declared his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and is a resident of the State of Colorado, shall be entitled to vote at this election.
