NOTICE OF HEARING
ON PETITION
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That there was filed in the
District Court of Weld County, Colorado, on the
day of
&m tt., 1967, a Petition entitled "In Re The Organization of
Milliken Sanitation District, Weld County, Colorado", which Petition
prays for the organization of a sanitation district. Said Petition
is now on file at the office of the Clerk of the District Court of
Weld County, in Greeley,_Colorado, and is available for public in-
spection.
The purpose of the District is as follows:
To supply sanitary sewage service for the District
and the inhabitants thereof by providing a complete sanitary sewage
collection, transmission, treatment and disposal system and service,
together with all incidental and appurtenant facilities.
A general description of the improvements to be acquired
by purchase, contract, construction, installation or any other law-
ful means for said District is:
A complete sanitary sewage collection, transmission,
treatment and disposal system, which may include but shall not be
limited to, sewage collection mains and laterals, transmission
lines, land and easementsas required, sewage treatment and disposal
facilities, and all necessary incidental and appurtenant facilities.

It is the intent of the District, when organized, to acquire by
purchase the existing sanitary sewer facilities of the Town of
Milliken, providing the question of selling the present sewer
facilities is approved by the electors of the Town qualified to
vote at an election to be held therein, and to construct and install
necessary extensions and improvements to the system, including a
sewage treatment plant.
The total estimated cost of acquiring the existing sanitary
sewer facilities and constructing and installing the necessary
extensions and improvements to the system is the amount of $125,000.
It is anticipated that approximately $33,000 of such cost will be
paid for by a grant from the Federal Government.
The proposed District is located in Weld County, Colorado,
the boundaries of which shall be the existing corporate limits of
the Town of Milliken, Colorado.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN That by an Order of the District
Court of Weld County, Colorado, a public Hearing on said Petition
will be held at the hour of /'3D o'clock L.M., in the District
Court Room, at the Weld County Courthouse in Greeley, Colorado, on
