WHEREAS, Victor Klein, the sole owner of the hereinafter
described real property has petitioned and requested that the
Board of County Commissioners consent to the vacation of all
roads, streets, avenues, alleys and park contained within that
part of the townsite of Kuner, Weld County, Colorado, and which
part of said Kuner townsite is described as follows:
That part of the North Half (Ni) of Section Twenty-five
(25), Township Five (5) North, Range Sixty-four (64) West
of the 6th Principal Meridian in Weld County, Colorado,
described as follows: Considering the East line of said
Section 25 to bear North and with all other bearings
contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the
northeast corner of said Section 25; thence South along
the East line of said Section 25, 795.00 feet; thence West
47.50 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3; thence
South parallel to the East line of said Section 25 to the
northeast corner of Lot 1 of Block 4; thence West to the north-
west corner of Lot 9 of said Block 4; thence South to the
southeast corner of Lot 10 of said Block 4; thence West to the
southwest corner of Lot 12 of said Block 4; thence South to
the southwest corner of Lot 13 of said Block 4; thence West
to the southwest corner of Lot 27, Block 13; thence South
to the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 12; thence East

47.50 feet distant from and parallel to the East line of

feet, more or less, to a point on the East line of the
Northwest Quarter (NW+) of said Section 25; thence north-
westerly to a point on the West line of said Northwest
Quarter (NW*) 92.00 feet South of the northwest corner
thereof; thence North along said West line to the northwest
corner of said Section 25; thence East along the North line
of said Section 25, 3,487.64 feet, more or less, to a point
of intersection with the southwesterly boundary of the Union
Pacific Railroad Right -of -Way, which is 50.00 feet distant
from, as measured at right angles to, the centerline of the
said Right -of -Way; thence southeasterly along the south-
westerly Right -of -Way of said Union Pacific Railroad 895.45
feet to a point; thence southwesterly to the southeast
corner of Lot 1, Block 18; thence continuing southwesterly
to the northwest corner of Lot 8, Block 16,; thence South
to the southwest corner of said Lot 8; thence East to the
southeast corner of said Lot 8; thence South to the south-
west corner of Lot 3, Block 15; thence northeast to the
southeast corner of Lot 2 of said Block 15; thence North to
the northeast corner of Lot 2 of said Block 15; thence East
to the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, said point being
the True Point of Beginning.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County has
satisfied itself that no roadway or part thereof will be vacated
so as to leave any land adjoining said roadway without an
established roadway connecting said land with another established
roadway, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the public and Weld
County, Colorado, to have the described roads, streets, avenues,
alleys and park in the townsite of Kuner, Weld County, as contained
in plat or map of same and within the hereinabove described tract
of land, vacated.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that all the roads, streets,
avenues,' alleys and park in the townsite of Kuner, Weld County,
Colorado, as contained in said map or plat thereof, be and the
same are hereby vacated and closed, and that the Chairman of the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County be authorized to
sign such a vacation deed on behalf of the Board of County
Commissioners and the people of the County of Weld, State of
Colorado.

WHEREAS, Victor R. Klein has tendered an easement to Weld County,
Colorado, for right-of-way purposes opening County Road No. 138-A said
easement described more particularly as follows to -wit:
1. The East forty-seven and one-half (471) feet of the
Northeast Quarter (NE) of Section twenty-five (25)
Township Five (5) North, Range Sixty-four (64) West
of the 6th P. bi., except that portion of said NE9
lying north of the railroad.
2. A strip of land over and across the Northeast Quarter
(NE*) of Section twenty-five (25), Township Five (5)
North, Range Sixty-four (64) west of the 6th P. M., lying
twenty-five (25) feet on each side of a center line which
commences at a point on the east line of the NEB, of said
Section 25, seventy-five (75) feet distant from, as measured
at right angles to, the center line of the Union Pacific
Railroad right of way, thence in a northwesterly direction
and parallel to the center line of the said railroad right
of way to a point on the north line of said Section twenty-
five (25).
3. The North thirty (30) feet of Section twenty-five (25),
Township Five (5) North, Range Sixty-four (64) West of the
6th P. M. lying West of the Union Pacific Railroad right of
way in the Northeast Quarter (NE -4) of said Section Twenty-
five (25).

WHEREAS, the necessities of the public require this County Road, the
believes it to he in the best interests of the county to accept said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, that said easement be accepted being described as
aforementioned, and known as County Road Number 138-A.

REGARDING PROJECT S 0048(1):
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain agreement with the State Highway
Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of the
Department of Highways of the State of Colorado, dated April 22, 1964, whereby
the County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standards designated to
govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project S 0048(1) of
improvements beginning at the Junction of SH 1 (US 287) and SH 7 in Lafayette
easterly to Interstate Route 25, approximately 5.534 miles long, as per terms
of said agreement on behalf of Weld County by signatures of the Board, copy
of said agreement is attached and made a part of this resolution.

BE.IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby accept the dedication of perpetual right-of-way over
the public roads, streets, highways, easements in behalf of the public, in the
Shupe Subdivision, being a part of Blocks 37 and 38, Clayton Park, a subdivision
in the SW4SW-- in Section 32, Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P. M.,
in Weld County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the S line of said Block 37 from which

believes it to be in the best interests of the public to retain that portion of
Old State Highway Number 185 within the boundaries of Section 20, Township 12 North,

WHEREAS, Gust R. Leaf dba The Sea Horse Lounge of Weld County, Colorado,
has presented to the Board of County Commissioners his application for a County
Dance Hall License to hold public dances at the location described as follows:
A portion of Lot 10, Arlington Gardens, lying south of the Union
Pacific Railroad spur track as now constructed and East of the
U. S. Highway #85, and
WHEREAS, the said applicant has paid Weld County the sum of Twenty
five Dollars ($25.00) therefore, and recognized by receipt #19478, dated May 6,
1964.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners,
having examined the said application, does hereby grant Dance License #96 to
Gust R. Leaf to conduct public dances at the Sea Horse Lounge and does hereby
authorize and direct the issuance of said license by the Chairman of the Board,
attested by the County Clerk and Recorder of Weld County, provided however, that

of July, 1964, to the 30th day of June, 1969, and the La Jaga Inc. agrees to
pay as rent for the term aforesaid, the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars

amend the Well County Zoning resolution dated May 29, 1961 and filed in the office

3.3-A USES PERMITTED IN THE "A-1", AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT:
(1) All uses permitted in the "E", Estate District as stated

Commissioners, the City of Greeley and the Weld County Municipal Airport Board the
low bid of $20,023.00 for the construction of an airport terminal building to be
erected at the Weld County Municipal Airport, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners believes it to be to the best
interest of the county to accept said bid.

WHEREAS voter registration requirements for regular
biennial school elections or for special school elections shall
be the same as those governing general elections, (House Bill
No. 1018 Section 6 (2) and
WHEREAS the county clerk of each county, prior to the
time of holding any regular biennial school election or
special school election in said school district, shall make a
full and complete copy of the list of the registered electors
of each school election precinct of each school district or
districts located within his county and
WHEREAS these lists can be made accurately and effici-

of hearing protestants, if any, regarding a change of zone in the Fort Lupton
area as requested by Willis T. Nash, said area more particularly described as
follows:

Rezoning from "A" Agricultural to "C" Commercial:
Northwest corner of the South half of Section 1, Township 1 North,
Range 67 West, lying South of State Highway 52, West of the City
of Fort Lupton. Said change of zoning to begin at West right-of-way

WHEREAS, as vacancy now exists, it has been recommended that Edwin G.
Colette of Windsor, Colorado be appointed to fill said vacancy, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interests of the
County to appoint said supervisor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of

Weld County, good for one year from the date of issue unless revoked, according
to law, provided, however, that said license shall be issued upon the express cond
tion and agreement that the place where licensee is authorized to sell beer under
said license will be conducted in strict conformity to all laws of the State of
Colorado and rules and regulations relating thereto heretofore passed by the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado and any violation thereof shall
be cause for revocation of the license.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council and Board of County
Commissioners that after the presentation by the Airport Board
of the necessity for a taxi way of 40 feet wide, that approval
and authorization is hereby given to the Weld County Municipal
Airport Board for the signing of the application for improvement
and construction of taxi ways, ramp and drainage at said airport
in 1965, with the understanding that said approval may be with-
drawn at budget time by both City and County. It is understood
that F.A.A. has authorized the City and County to withdraw their
approval of this project if said City and County find it impossible
to supply their participating share at budget time.
