Mary Ann Feuerstein, Recorder II ACCEPT RECOMMENDATIONS OF PLANNING COMMISSION - ZONING OF WEST EVANS AREA: WHEREAS, a special hearing was held by the Board of County Commissioners, in the office of the County Commissioners, Weld County Courthouse on Monday, May 15, 1963 at 2:00 p.m., for the purpose of hearing protestants, if any, regarding the zoning of the West Evans area, particularly that unincorporated portion of the E2 of Section 19, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P. M., and the unincorporated portion of the NWe of Section 20, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P. M., and, WHEREAS, there appeared no protestants at the above hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld Planning Commission recommendations regarding the aforementioned zoning of the West Evans area as herein described, be accepted as submitted. M. A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, was held Monday, May 15, 1963 at 2:00 p.m., for the purpose of hearing protestants, if any, regarding the zoning of the West Evans area, particularly that unincorporated portion of the E2 of Section 19, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., and the unincorporated portion of the NW4 of Section 20, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. Present at the meeting were: Elmer L. Shultz, Chairman Pro Tem; Commissioner Tom V. Reed, Commissioner for District No. 1; George Mosier, Chairman of the Planning Commission and Clerk. There appeared no protestants to the zoning. Mr. Reed made the motion that the zoning be accomplished according to the recommenda- tion of the Planning Commission. Ewing Elmer L. Shultz. Dear Commissioners, This pertains to the zoning of the area between ureeley and Evans which we believe you plan to handle early this month. Since we will be out of town, we take this means of discussing the zoning. We are asking that the frontage on 11th Avenue South of King's Motor— cycle shop to the street, vilest 300 feet be zoned business and that 300 feet both oouth and West of the Evans cemetery be zoned for multiple dwelling. Mr. Ewing, we believe you will remember the discussion coneerning this at the meeting in Evans. We feel that is a reasonable application for this portion because of the nature of Mr. King's business and that multiple dwellings would work next to the cemetery whereas many individuals would not care to have a single residence so close. as to the business zone for that South of King's, there is also the motorena accross the street, whereas the only business near the farm further South, is the Caper Club on the East side of the Avenue. Our request has been discussed with both ,tier. George Mosier and I.r. John Watson. GREELEY, COL^ 0404040404040400040404040. 0.0404040404040404a. a, la0404040400b0be No. 1356815 I RESOLUTION A resolution establishing land use zoning within certain unincorporated zoning areas in Weld County, Colorado; adopting maps g of said areas and zoning districts therein; regulating the use of the land and the use, setback, lot area, lot width, yards, and height e of building; providing for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof; defining certain terms used herein; prescribing 9 penalties for the violation of its provisions; and repealing all resolutions in conflict herewith. Be 1t resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld: That this resolution shall apply to the unincorporated areas within the County of Weld, State of Colorado, as indicated on the e officially adopted zoning maps of Weld County. (Here follows details of resolution outlined above) Section XIII 13.1 Repeals (1) All resolutions of the County of Weld, inconsistent herewith to the extent of such inconsistency, and no further, are Q hereby repealed (2) The repeal of any of the above -mentioned resolutions does not revive any other resolution or portion thereof repealed j by said resolution. 4 (3) Such repeals shall not affect or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for the violation of any resolution 0, repealed hereby, for an offense committed prior to the repeal. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed zoning Resolution concerning the West Greeley Zoning Area ap. proved by the Weld County Planning Commission, including the proposed Zoning Resolution and proposed Zoning Maps be and hereby is confirmed, ratified and adopted and by reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
