The request for permission to installa l-" and 2" PVC rigid plastic pipeline
imxated for domestic water, located two miles south of the Berthoud Grange Hall,
being approximately the Northeast corner of Section 31, Township 4, Range 68, then
running West 1773 feet, ez O(174e -c2; je_9_, .1 ,7YZ,
is granted subject to the following conditions and restrictions and agreements:
That you restore the disturbed portions of all of the right-of-way and roadway
to its original condition, backfilling to be well tamped and packed, the last 12
inches of backfill on crossings to be stable granular material, such as crushed roch
or gravel, and all dirt and debris to be removed from all the rights -of -way when work
is completed; that this line shall be buried in accordance with the County Engineer's
specifications; that all roadway signs taken down be replaced immediately; that all
tubes be marked ahead of trencher; that trenching be as close to outer edge of shoul-
der as possible, not to exceed three and one-half (3=i) feet; that pipe be placed un-
der all tubes and bridges; that all lines under existing black top or hard surfaced
roads must be bored or pushed under the surfaced portion of the roadway; that you
maintain this line at all times; that you check and maintain backfill after all storms
and assume full responsibility for any damage it may cause.
That all labor and material will be furnished by you at no expense to Weld County
and that this work will be completed within a reasonable time after construction is
started; that you will protect the traveling public during the installation with pro-
per warning signs and signals, i.e., flares, both day and night; that you assume full
responsibilty fox all damages resulting from this installation; that in any event
any changes are made in these highways in the future that would necessitate the remo-
val or relocation of this installation you will so remove or relocate at your own ex-
pense upon written request from Weld County.
That you save Weld County harmless from any and all claims of any nature whatso-
ever which may arise by reason of granting permission to lay the above mentioned pipe-
line including costs, if any are incurred, in the defense of any claims made by any
person, firm or corporation by reason of the installation of said pipeline and the
maintenance thereof.
Weld County will not be responsible for any damages caused in the maintenance of
the highways to installations placed inside the highway right-of-way.
This understanding and agreement will be binding upon yol:r respective ui s,
heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.

We request permission to install a 1 1/2" and 2" PVC rigid plastic
pipeline on the south shoulder of the Weld County road located
two miles south of the Berthoud Grange Hall (formerly Whipple X
School). We propose to lay this line from the intersection of
the north -south road along the east -west road west a distance of
1733 feet. The purpose of this line is to serve a new house to
be built by Mr. John Reed.

signed on behalf of the District.
This pipeline is for domestic water. It will begin at approx-
imately the northeast corner of Section 31, Township 4, Range
68, then west 1773 feet.
