RESOLUTION RE: PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE
COUNTY ROAD BETWEEN SECTIONS 25 and 26, TOWN—
SHIP 5 N., RANGE 67 West. Granted.
Commissioner Ford offered the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, a petition signed by owners of lands adjoining
the county road between Sections 25 and 26, Township 5 N., Range 67, W.,
requesting that said road be vacated and closed, has been presented to
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and,
WHEREAS, it appears that the necessities of the public
no longer require a County road between said Sections 25 and 26.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered
that County Road No. 439, designated July 2, 1901, being one mile of
road along the section line. between Sections 25 and 26, Township 5 N.,
Range'.67 West, be and hereby is vacated, abandoned and closed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the bridge across the
Greeley-Loveland Ditch, on said road, will not be disturbed in order
that farm machinery may be moved across the ditch, but that Weld County
assumes no responsibility for repairs or upkeep on said bridge.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Arens and the
resolution adopted by the following vote:

Said road to be not less than sixty (60)feet in width.
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above
described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration,
of the sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of Weld, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agree to give the right
of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for
