Now, Therefore, the condition of this obligation is such that if the bid be accepted as to any or all of the
items of material and workmanship proposed to be furnished thereby, or as to any portion of the same, and if the
Principal will, within the period specified therefore, or, if no period be specified, within ten (10) days after
notice of the award of the contract, enter into contract with the Obligee, to furnish all work and material at the
prices offered by said bid, and will furnish bond with good and sufficient surety or surities, as may be required,
for the faithful and proper fulfillment of such contract, then this obligation shall be void. And the Surety hereby
binds itself and its successors to pay to the Obligee, in case the Prinicpal fails to enter into such contract, and
give such bond within the period specified therefore, or, if no period be specified, within ten (10) days after such
notice of award of contract the difference in money between the amount of the bid of the Principal on the work
and material so accepted, and the amount for which the Obligee may contract with others for such work and
material, if the latter amount be in excess of the former, but in no event shall the Surety's liability exceed the
penal sum hereof.

THIS COACT, made and entered into this day of

That for and in consideration of the payments, covenants, and agree-
ments stated herein, the Contractor and Owner agree as follows:
1. The Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed
and Shall provide and furnish all of the labor, materials, necessary tools,
expendable equipment, and all utility and transportation services required to
perform and complete in a workmanlike manner all the work required in connec-

for the Owner, all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications
including any and all addenda, prepared by Nelson, Haley, Patterson, and Quirk,
Engineering Consultants, Greeley, Colorado, acting for the Owner and in these
contract documents referred to as the Engineer, which Plans and Specifications
are made a part of this Contract; and in strict compliance with the Contractor's
proposal and the other contract documents herein mentioned which are a part of
this Contract; and the Contractor shall do everything required by this Contract
and the other documents constituting a part thereof.
2. Payments are to be made to the Contractor in accordance with and
subject to the provisions embodied in the documents made a part of this Contract.

3. Work under this Contract shall commence within ten (10) days after
a written notice from the Owner to the Contractor who shall diligently prosecute
and complete all work under this Contract ready for use in accordance with the
time of completion described in the Proposal. Form and pursuant to Paragraph 72
of the General Conditions of this Contract.
4. This Contract consists of the following component parts, all of
which are as fully a part of this Contract as if herein set out verbatim, or,
if not attached as if hereto attached.

5. It is agreed by the parties to this Contract that this Contract
shall be executed in quadruplicate, one copy being retained by the Contractor,
one to be delivered to the Owner, one to the Engineer, and one to the Contractor's
Surety.

Gentlemen:
The undersigned, having familiarized himself/themselves with the
local conditions affecting the cost of the work and with the Contract Documents,
including the Form of Proposal, Form of Contract, Form of Performance Bond,
and drawings, hereby proposes to perform everything required to be performed
and to provide and furnish all of the labor, materials, necessary tools,
expendable equipment, and all utility and transportation services necessary to
perform and complete in a workmanlike manner all of the work required in
connection with the fabricating and supplying of structural steel and
miscellaneous metalwork for the Kuner Bridge to be constructed by the County
of Weld, Colorado, all in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor
as prepared by Nelson, Haley, Patterson, and Quirk, Engineering Consultants,
including Addenda Nos. , �..,s and , issued thereto, for the sum set
forth in the following Bilging schedule; it 5eing understood that each of the
items is to be fabricated, delivered, and ready for use, including all labor,
materials, and expendable equipment of every kind and nature necessary to
fabricate, deliver and perform the same, and that each item shall be fabricated
in all aspects so as to accomplish the purpose for which the same was intended
by the said plans and specifications:

The total contract price shall be the basis for establishing the
amount of the performance bond on this Contract.
If awarded this Contract the undersigned agrees to enter into a
Contract within ten (10) days and to complete the work to the satisfaction of
the said Owner within forty-five (45) days after notification in writing to
start work.

The erection of this bridge by county bridge crews is scheduled for
low water and prior to heavy fall use. Liquidated damages in the amount of
One Hundred (100) Dollars per day wiu.1 be deducted from monies due the steel
supplier for each calendar day necessary to complete this contract, in excess
of the time set forth above plus any authorized time extensions.
In submitting this bid, it is understood that the right is reserved
by the Owner to reject any and all bids.
