WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, has heretofore, by joint resolution with the City
of Greeley, established the Weld County Municipal Airport, and
WHEREAS, provision was made therein for the appointment
of a seven -man airport board to operate said airport and providing
for the appointment and term of office of each member thereof, and
WHEREAS, it is now desirous and in the best interests of Weld
County to have one of its county commissioners serve as a mctmber of
said airport board, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley has agreed that both the county
and the city shall have an additional member on said airport board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that from date hereof,
and until further order of the board, the County of Weld shall have an
additional member on said airport board and that such member shall
be one of the county commissioners and that he shall be selected in a
manner that may be determined by the Board of County Commissioners;
and that term shall be from January 1 through December 31 of each
year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that County Commissioner
Marshall H. Anderson be, and he hereby is, appointed to serve on the
Weld County Municipal Airport Board until January 1, 1969.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote:
