AMENDING THE WELD,COUNTY RESOLUTION
' DATED MAY 29, 1961:

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the recommendations of the Weld County Planning Commission to
amend the Weld County Zoning resolution dated May 29, 1961 and filed in the office
of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder on June 2, 1961 under No. 1356815, be and
they are approved to read as follows:
3.3-A USES PREMITTED IN THE "A-1", AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT:
(1) All uses permitted in the "E", Estate Dktrict as stated
therefore;
(2) Airports;
(3) Any feeding operation in conjunction with a farming operation
of 80 acres or more, provided that the feeding is done on said
farm by the farm operator, there shall be no limit set for the
number of animals or fowls and would be classified as non-
commercial. Said feeding operation shall not exceed 25% of the
farm's land area. No new feed lot shall be built nor an
existing feedlot expanded closer than 660 feet to any adjacent
primary farm residence or public place of assembly and at least
660 feet from any more restrictive zoning boundary. If the feed
lot is in conjunction with the farmstead, there shall be no
restrictions as to setback from any State or Federal Highway.
If it is not in conjunction with the farmstead, the feed lot
shall be at least 660 feet from any State or Federal Highway;
(4) Cemeteries;
(5) Cultivation, storage and sale of crops, vegetables, plants,
flowers and nusery stock produced on the premises;
(6 Fairgrounds;
(7 Grange Halls;
(8 Gravel pits and quarries;
(9 Oil drilling facilities;
(10 Radio Transmitting Stations;
(11 Riding stables;
(12 Veterinary Hospitals.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following votes .
