ERTHAL (RICHARD D. AND DOROTHY SCHILD, PROPERTY OWNERS) A public hearing was conducted on January 24, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present: Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem Commissioner Dale K. Hall Commissioner Constance L. Harbert Commissioner W. H. Webster Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Chris Goranson The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated January 3, 1996, and duly published January 11, 1996, in the North Weld Herald, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of James A. and Pamela J. Erthal (Richard D. and Dorothy Schild, property owners) for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for a home business (cabinet shop) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attomey, made this a matter of record. Chris Goranson, Planning Department representative, presented a brief summary of the proposal and entered the favorable recommendation of the Planning Commission into the record as written. James Erthal, applicant, was present and stated he and his father have been operating a small custom-cabinet shop for about 23 years. He stated they sometimes employ a couple other people but intend to keep the business small. Mr. Erthal agreed with all Conditions of Approval and Development Standards and, in response to Commissioner Webster, stated they build mostly custom cabinets for residences. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Hall moved to approve the request of James A. and Pamela J. Erthal (Richard D. and Dorothy Schild, property owners) for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for a home business (cabinet shop) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, based on the recommendations of the Planning staff and the Planning Commission, with the Conditions of Approval and Development Standards as entered into the record.
