Although this decision does not fall under the Department of Labor's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, due to the number of employees at this facility we feel it is important to notify you of this event. The entire plant will be permanently closed and all separations should take place on August 2, however, some associates may work longer in order to finalize the plant closing process. Job titles of the positions affected and the number of affected associates in each job classification are listed below. Our associates are not represented by a union and there are no bumping rights. Plant Co-Manager 2 Dispatch Supervisor 1 Office Administrator 1 Local Driver 1 Forklift Operators 7 Material Handlers 3 Mechanic 1 Machine Operator 8 Quality Control 1 Sanitor 1 Utility 10 Arrow is providing for the transfer of displaced employees to other company facilities out of state with job postings, benefits and earnings protection and relocation assistance. Medical and life insurance will be continued during this severance period. Arrow is providing job search resources and assistance to promote the prompt reemployment of displaced employees.
