RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO ASSESSMENT PROTOCOL FOR EXCELLENCE IN
PUBLIC HEALTH BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Assessment Protocol for Excellence in
Public Health Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jeffrey Abbett be appointed to said board,
to replace Ruben Flores; and Ellen Laurence to replace Jean Mallett, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jeffrey Abbett and Ellen Laurence
to said board, with their terms to expire September 1, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Jeffrey Abbett and Ellen Laurence, be, and hereby are, appointed
to the Assessment Protocol for Excellence in Public Health Board, with their terms to expire
September 1, 1998.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of March, A.D., 1998.
