RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO UNDESIRABLE PLANT MANAGEMENT ADVISORY
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Undesirable Plant Management Advisory
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Karen Scopel be appointed to replace David
Bates, Thomas Karlberg be appointed to replace Janice Dersham, and David Cook be
appointed to replace Paul Henneck, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Karen Scopel, Thomas Karlberg,
and David Cook to said board, with their terms to expire August 19, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Karen Scopel, Thomas Karlberg, and David Cook be, and hereby
are appointed to the Undersirable Plant Management Advisory Board with their terms to expire
August 19, 2000.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of August, A.D., 1997.
