Mr. McNulty was present and asked that his name and that of his wife's be withdrawn as they did not realize what they were signing for. He said they objected to there being more than five head of cattle. Mr. Lester, of the nursing home, was also pres- ent and said he was opposed to any cattle at all because of the flies it would draw. Mr. Boardman was opposed to it being so close to the house he was building, but said if it was further away he would not care. George Andersen asked if it wasn't a matter of whether the planning commission could designate or limit the number of cattle. It was brought out that it would depreciate the value of the land around there if the feed lot was put in. Elmer Shultz felt it was a potential residence area. Mr. Lester said that the neighbors joining him and to the south had spent a large sum of money for a water line for residential purposes. Charles Hesse stated that he just wanted around five head of registered cattle, and he would try to move it further away from the house being built by Mr. Boardman. He also stated that there were horses being kept in their neighborhood. Mr. Shultz brought out that it couldn't be helped what was already there, but he still felt it was a potential residential area. Mr. Shultz made a motion that the Planning Com- mission make a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners to deny the Petition of Charles Hesse for his small feed lot. Seconded by George Mosier.
