RESOLUTION
RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING A SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1190 FOR A COMPOSTING FACILITY - CROISSANT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Site Specific Development Plan and
Special Review Permit#1190 for a Composting Facility for H. Michael Croissant, P.O. Box 987,
Brighton, Colorado 80601, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 29th day of July, 1998, at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow planning staff adequate time
to post the notice sign for the required time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to August 12,
1998, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of July, A.D., 1998.

The Department of Planning Services is recommending this case be continued until August 12,
1998 due to the fact that I was in error in meeting the ten day time frame for sign posting. In
conversation with the applicant the proposed continuation date is acceptable.
