RE: CORRECTED LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR A SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN
AND SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1099 FOR EXPANSION OF A CHURCH FACILITY IN
THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - KERSEY COMMUNITY CHURCH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated January 3, 1996, the Board did approve the application
of Kersey Community Church, P.O. Box 158, Kersey, Colorado 80644, for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Special Review Permit #1099 for expansion of a church facility in the A
(Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the SE'/ of Section 20, Township 4 North,
Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, on March 27, 1996, the Board was informed the correct legal description for
said real estate is as follows:
Part of the SE% of Section 20, Township 5 North,
Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS,corrected notice with the corrected legal description has been given by posting,
mailing, and publishing, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present, studied the recommendations of the Weld County Planning and Attorney staff and
all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter, and incorporated the record from the
hearing of January 3, 1996, and, having been fully informed, finds that said Resolution dated
January 3, 1996, shall be affirmed including the above mentioned correction to the legal
description.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Resolution dated January 3, 1996, approving the application of Kersey
Community Church for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit #1099 for
expansion of a church facility in the A (Agricultural) Zone District be, and hereby is, affirmed,
including the correction of the legal description as above stated.

Pursuant to the zoning laws of the State of Colorado and the Weld County Zoning Ordinance, a
public hearing will be held in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, First Floor, Greeley, Colorado, at the
time specified. All persons in any manner interested in the Site Specific Development Plan and
Special Review Permit for the corrected legal description are requested to attend and may be heard.
Should the applicant or any interested party desire the presence of a court reporter to make a record
of the proceedings, in addition to the taped record which will be kept during the hearing, the Clerk
to the Board shall be advised in writing of such action at least five days prior to the hearing. The
cost of engaging a court reporter shall be borne by the requesting party.

The published and mailed notices for the above were I township off,beginning,I am told,w/the plan corn resolution although
the plan corn notices were correct.I am suggesting that we renotify w/corrections and allow public testimony,if any,at the
announced time.If no one testifies it is cleaned up;if they do the Board could decide to reopen the case.(It is not really a
rehearing since the Board lacked jurisdiction)
