OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR THE COUNTY OF WELD:
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did appoint Elton Miller
as Commissioner of the Housing Authority for the County of Weld for a term of
five years on June 3, 1959 and reappointed on July 22, 1964, and
WHEREAS, a further appointment is necessary and Mr. Miller is willing
to accept the appointment, it is the desire of the Board of County Commissioners
that he be retained in his present position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Elton Miller be and he is hereby appointed Commissioner
of the Housing Authority for the County of Weld for a term of five years, ending
July 1, 1974.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

Your letter of August 5, 1969, written to the attention of Mr.
Marshall Anderson, Chairman of the Board of County Com-
missioners, Weld County, Colorado, pertaining to the appoint-
ment on the Board of the Weld County Housing Authority has
been turned over to this office for attention.
Please be advised that Mr. Elton Miller. Northwest of Fort
Lupton, Colorado, has been re -appointed to serve on this
Board for a five year period ending July 1, 1974.

PETITION TO THE WELD COUNTY CONi IISSI'ONS
We, the residents of the Fort Lupton Labor Camp and
the Fort Lupton community, request that the Weld County
Commissioners appoint JESS BAROS to fill the position as
member of the Board of the Weld County Housing Authority
soon to be opened by the expiration of Mr. Elton Miller's
term on July 1, 1969.
Since its creation in 1951, the composition of the
Weld County Housing Authority Board has not fully repre—
sented all the interests of those vitally concerned with
the Authority's responsibilities.
Recent focus on the problems of the Fort Lupton Labor
Camp clearly indicates the need for representation on the
Board of all people directly affected by the decisions of
the Authority. We feel that the Tpointment of JESS BAROS
would make it possible for a large segment of those affected
by the decisions of the Board to be adequately represented.
We further request that all future compositions of the Weld
County Housing Authority be made in accordance with the
composition of thepeople thereby served.
