To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado:
Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned, Citizens and Freeholders of your County, residing within two (2) miles of
the road herein sought to be laid out, respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require a County
wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at
Commencing at the county road on the west side of section 34 Twp.
5 N. R. 65 West, where said road intersects the north boundry line of
the Union Pacific R R Co right of way, thence in a northeasterly direct
tion along the north boundary line of said right of wayto its intersect
inn with the section between section 27 and 34, the sa me being the
county road.
Also abandoning that part of county Road No. 144 from the south
west corner of section 27 to its intersection of the north boundry line
of the Union Pacific R. R. Co. right of way.
Said road to be not less than sixty (GO) feet in width.
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above
described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sou9'ht to be laid out, in consideration
of the sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of Weld, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agree to give the right
of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for
damage by reason thereof. / O C y/c-Z-u
