In your letter of December 16, 1997, you questioned our rate of$24.56 per hour for staff time spent
assisting you in the retrieval of information. Please be advised that staff will provide documents as
requested but will be on the clock. Once your time requests of our staff exceed one hour, you will
be billed at the set rate of$24.56 and will continue for all additional time. Please keep in mind that
the Department cost allocates staff costs and we really don't have a funding source or grant to which
we can bill this activity.
We have January 5, 1998, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. marked on our calendar as your review date.
Again, if you can get much more specific in what you wish to review, I feel it will help both of us in
expediting your review.
