RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1184 FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SERVICE
ESTABLISHMENT (AN EQUINE BREEDING, BOARDING, AND TRAINING FACILITY)
IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - J. FRANK AND MARIAN HOBBS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Site Specific Development Plan and
Special Review Permit#1184 for an Agricultural Service Establishment (an Equine Breeding,
Boarding, and Training Facility) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District for J. Frank and Marian
Hobbs, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 8th day of July, 1998, at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter one week to allow the planning staff
adequate time to post the sign to notice surrounding property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
July 15, 1998, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 8th day of July, A.D., 1998.

Staff is recommending that case USR-1184 for Frank and Marian Hobbs be continued until July
15, 1998 due to improper notifications. Staff did not post a sign on the property 10 days prior to
todays date.
