HomeMy WebLinkAbout972006.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT REQUEST TO CHANGE USE OF MOBILE HOME PERMIT #2038 -ARNOLD WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on the 17th day of September, 1997, considered the request of Natalie M. Arnold, 15982 Highway 52, Fort Lupton, Colorado 80621, for a mobile home to be used as a principal dwelling, and WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be occupied in an A (Agricultural) Zone District on a parcel of land being more particularly described as follows: Part of the NE1/4 of Section 3, Township 1 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services staff recommends approval, based on the following: 1. The mobile home is existing and permitted by ZPMH #2038 (approved October 17, 1996) for use during a medical hardship. 2. The mobile home is currently connected to an approved septic system (ISDS Permit#G-850088) and a legal water supply (Well Permit#193333). 3. The applicant has submitted a petition in favor of said request. The petition contains the signatures of 50% of the surrounding property owners within 500 feet of the property where the mobile home is currently located. The remaining four property owners have not responded to the applicant's request for signatures. Additionally, the Department of Planning Services has not received any negative comments from surrounding property owners. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Natalie M. The existing mobile home was placed on the property for use during a medical hardship as permitted by ZPMH-2038 which was approved on October 17, 1996. As part of that application process, I submitted a petition to the Weld County Planning Department containing‘of the 7 surrounding property owners' signatures (71.4%). However, in attempting to obtain signatures from at least 70% of the surrounding property owners for my current application, I have only received 4 of the 7 property owners (57.1%).
