Dear Ms. Griego:
Enclosed please find the detailed Colorado Works Program work participation rate information for
August 1999, summary information for October 1998 through July 1999,and the current YTD work
participation rate for FFY'99(October 1998 through August1999)for all counties.
As you will see, the All Families Rate remains static at around 34% for the year. Keep in mind that as of
October 1, 1999(FFY'00)the All Families requirement is set at 40%. It is also important to note that as
of October I, 1999, the average weekly hours will increase to 30 in work and/or work activities.
The Two-Parent Households has increased slightly for August continuing our upward trend.
Congratulations to those counties with increases. Keep up the good work! We will continue to work with
all counties regarding the work participation rates including problems and solutions.
