RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO WELD COUNTY REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Regional Communications
Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Randy Houchen be appointed to said board,
to replace Travis Stark as Fire Zone B representative, and Yrineo Salazar be reappointed as
Police Zone 3 representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Randy Houchen and reappoint
Yrineo Salazar to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Randy Houchen be appointed and Yrineo Salazar be reappointed
to the Weld County Regional Communications Advisory Board, with their terms to expire
December 31, 2000.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 9th day of February, A.D., 1998.
