COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
PROJECT S 0024 (25):
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain agreement with the State Highway
Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of the
Department of Highways of the State of Colorado, dated October 26, 1966,
whereby the County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standards designated
to govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project S 0024 (25) of
improvements approximately 0.133 miles long, beginning at a point approximately
0.5 miles West of Briggsdale at Crow. Creek on State Highway 14, as per terms
of said agreementrbn behalf of Weld County by signatures of the Board as per
agreementcatached hereto and made a part of this resolution)
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 26th day of October 1966 ,
by and between the County of Weld party of the first part, and
THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second part,
WITNESSETH that
WHEREAS, The Department has constructed, or proposes to construct, or
provide for the construction of, a project known as Project S 0024(25)
approximately 0.133' 2/ miles long, beginning at about 0.5 miles West
of Briggsdale-at Crow Creek
on State Highway No. 14 in the County and
WHEREAS, The said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary
System,
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950, the
Parties have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of
construction for said Project and have agreed as follows:
That, the 1966 Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is' found
to be 950 vehicles per day. Therefore, in accordance with approved and
established practices, the traffic volume twenty years hende is estimated to be
2185 vehicles per day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that
designated as Type C of the Geometric Standards dated February/1963, more
fully described as follows:
The surface shall consist of Bituminous Pavement , 22 1/
feet wide on a roadway 38 1/ feet wide. The maximum grade shall be 0.6
percent and the curvature shall not exceed 0 degrees and 0 minutes.
The rights of way shall not be less than OT 0 feet in width,gmagomagmbodm

MataXiMAXECKAXXXxxma Bridges and Separations shall have a design load of H 90-- A4.
Those structures having a length less than sixty (60) feet shall have a clear
roadwaywidth, between curbs or wheel guards, of -®' feet and those having
a length of sixty (60) -feet and over -shall have a clear roadway width of -30
feet.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
Successors and assigns of the Parties Thereto.
This,Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf
of the County by virtue of a Resolution passed at the meeting of the Board of
County Commissioners held onOctober 26, 1966 a certified copy of which is
attached hereto.
