RE: APPOINTMENT OF ESTHER E. GESICK AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the termination of Shelly K. Miller, a need exists to appoint another
Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board to rescind the appointment of Shelly K. Miller as
Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the
desire of the Board to appoint Esther E. Gesick as Deputy Clerk to the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Esther E. Gesick be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the Board,
effective September 2, 1997.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board, that the appointment of Shelly K. Miller be,
and hereby is, rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 8th day of September, A.D., 1997.
